Luton tower blocks given 'all-clear' on cladding
None of the tower blocks in Luton has the same cladding as used on Grenfell Tower in North Kensington, the local council has confirmed.
Luton Borough Council said: "Following the Prime Minister’s comments, Luton Borough Council can confirm that none of its high-rise buildings has the same cladding that was used on Grenfell Tower.
"We have responded to a series of questions from the Department for Communities and Local Government and they have informed us they have no concerns."
