Lorry fire halts traffic on A47 in Norfolk

There were long delays for traffic using the A47 Southern By-Pass near Norwich this morning after a bin lorry caught fire during the morning rush hour.

The Westbound carriageway is likely to remain closed until early afternoon as emergency services continue clearing up the scene.

The lorry belongs to South Norfolk Council. No one was injured and an investigation into what caused the fire is now underway
