A12 northbound Copdock interchange closed due to lorry fire

Firefighters are still trying to deal with a fire which has taken hold in a lorry at a busy interchange in Ipswich.

Crews were called to the A12 northbound between the London Road junction and the Copdock interchange, leading onto the A14, just before 6.30am (Saturday 6th May)

The northbound carriageway is expected to remain closed for the next few hours.
