Malcolm Robertson's been talking to a former prisoner of war on how the Fall of Singapore left its mark on East Anglia's soldiers.

It was described by Winston Churchill as the worst disaster in Britain's military history.

It was 75 years ago today - February the 15th 1942, when Singapore was surrendered to the Japanese.

It was a decision that had disastrous consequences for thousands of soldiers from this region, caught up in the horror of prisoner of war camps in the Far East.
