Anglian Water to pay charity £100,000 after sewage leak

Anglian Water have agreed to pay £100,000 to an environmental charity after leaking raw sewage into a Northamptonshire stream.

Sewage from a water recycling works in Corby was released into the Willow Brook in 2014.

The sewage polluted a 6 kilometre stretch and killed up to 500 fish.
