Norfolk swimmer wins bronze at Rio Paralympics

Norfolk swimmer Jessica Jane Applegate has won bronze in the 100 metre backstroke S14 category at the Olympic Aquatics stadium during the first day of the games.

The 20-year-old from Great Yarmouth won a gold at the London 2012 game.

Great Britain's Bethany Firth won gold.

Meanwhile sprinter Jonnie Peacock set a new Paralympic record of 10.81secs in the T44 100m heat.

He'll go for gold in the final tonight.
