Crystal Palace's Williams signs up for fourth Ipswich spell

Jonny Williams will spend another season on loan at Ipswich Town.

Ipswich Town have signed Crystal Palace midfielder Jonny Williams on loan for a fourth time.

The Welsh international has already had three loan spells at Portman Road.

The 22-year-old will now spend the rest of the season with Mick McCarthy's side after impressing for Wales at Euro 2016.

Meanwhile, winger Cameron Stewart has left the club after his contract was cancelled by mutual consent.

With no loans after today, we had to get it done now and when I knew Ipswich wanted me, it was a no-brainer.

I’ve had some great times at Ipswich and played some of the best football of my career here, especially in the first spell I had.

– Jonny Williams, Ipswich Town
