A man from Essex was among two RAF student pilots killed in a light aircraft crash on Saturday.

25-year-old Ajvir Singh Sandhu died when the plane crashed in a field in North Yorkshire.

Cameron James Forster, who was 21 and from Sussex, was also killed.

The Station Commander at Linton-on-the-Ouse where they were based called them both 'exceptional talents.'

Air Accident investigators are still trying to find out why the plane came down.
