Detective Superintendent John Brocklebank

One of our region's top police officers is hanging up his handcuffs after thirty years in the job.

Detective Superintendent John Brocklebank has been solving crimes in Suffolk and Norfolk since he was a young man but is looking forward to retirement.

Starting out on the beat in Bury St Edmunds at 26, John Brocklebank rose up the ranks and joined the CID to eventually become head of the Norfolk and Suffolk Major Investigation team. When he retires John plans to ride his bicycle round England for a few months.
