Dalai Lama greeted with jeers as well as cheers

He's generally seen as an almost universally popular figure and a force for peace and harmony.

But on a visit to Cambridge the Dalai Lama was met by protesters who claim he and his supporters are persecuting their form of Buddhism.

Members of the Shugden community say they are victims of a form of apartheid - a claim strongly denied by followers of the spiritual leader.
