Dalai Lama greeted by rival protests in Cambridge

Supporters and opponents of the Dalai Lama on opposite sides of the road outside Cambridge's Magdalene College.

The Dalai Lama is attending an event at the Inspire Dialogue Foundation.

Protesters from the Shugden Buddhist sect say they are demonised and persecuted and blame him.

His supporters claim the protesters are agitators working on behalf of the Chinese government.
