Ipswich Town striker Daryl Murphy has been shortlisted for The Championship Player of the Year award.

The Irishman has enjoyed the best season of his career, and leads the goalscoring charts with 24 goals.

Murphy is up against Watford's Troy Deeney and Middlesbrough forward Patrick Bamford for the accolade. The winner will be announced on Sunday.

Former MK Dons loanee Bamford is also in the running for the Football League Young Player of the Year prize.
