Ipswich Town have extended the loan deal of Blackburn Rovers forward Luke Varney until the end of the season.
The 32-year-old initially joined on a month's loan, but Town had the option to extend that deal if they wanted to.
Varney will now stay at Portman Road until May 2, with an option also in place to cover the play-offs - should Ipswich make it.
Town have also extended the loan of midfielder Richard Chaplow.
Again, he will stay until the end of the season.
Chaplow scored the winner in Ipswich's 1-0 win at Watford on Saturday (21 March).
In other news, defender Elliott Hewitt has been recalled from his loan spell at Colchester United to help cover for the suspension of Tyrone Mings and an injury to Jonny Parr.
Elsewhere, Ipswich defender Christophe Berra scored the winning goal for Scotland last night in their 1-0 triumph over Northern Ireland at Hampden Park.
Ipswich Town's Jonny Williams has thanked the club's fans for their "special" support after returning to Portman Road for a third time.
Norwich City loanee Graham Dorrans says that he is targeting promotion to the Premier League, after extending his stay at Carrow Road.
