Trophies stolen from the Red Bull Formula 1 team's factory during a ram-raid earlier this month, have been found in a lake.

Around 20 of the 60 trophies which were taken during the smash and grab robbery have now been recovered from Horseshoe Lake in Sandhurst, Berkshire.

Many of the trophies won over the past 5 years have been damaged.

Police believe 6 men were involved in the raid in Milton Keynes on the 6th December, using two cars with foreign number plates.

"We estimate about 20 trophies have been recovered, but we are liaising with Red Bull to establish the exact number as some of the trophies were damaged."

Night staff at the factory during the raid were not injured and the Red Bull team said some of the trophies were replicas.
