Man charged with causing death by careless driving following Essex crash

A man has been charged with causing death by careless driving following a road crash in Little Horkesley where a 34-year-old woman died.

Nigel Kelsall, 39, of Hereford Road, Colchester, was driving the silver convertible BMW that he and Stacy Clague were in when it left the road in Vinesse Road on Tuesday, May 20.

The car was in collision with a tree stump and Stacy received serious head injuries. She was taken to Colchester General Hospital but died the next day.

Mr Kelsall has been bailed to appear before Colchester Magistrates Court on Tuesday, December 9.
