Bikers take Wreath of Respect on seven day tour
Motorcyclists from the Royal British Legion have been at Ely in Cambridgeshire today as part of a seven day journey taking a Wreath of Respect around the country. The wreath is a mark of respect for all those who have fought and suffered in wars. The city's cathedral was the first stop on its tour after leaving the national Aboretum in Staffordshire. Around 25 bikes were left parked outside while their owners took part in a special service inside the cathedral. From Ely it will be taken by a new group of bikers to York Minister and then on to other cathedrals around the country.
