Body found by Suffolk river

The body of a man has been recovered from the side of the River Gipping in Suffolk.

Police were contacted by the ambulance service on the evening of Friday 30th May, who reported that a man was lying by the river unconscious and not breathing, not far from Paper Mill Lane in the Bramford area.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The death is currently being treated as unexplained but there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.
