Labour hold Harlow but only by the smallest margin

Labour's majority on Harlow Council has been cut to just one as UKIP took seats from all parties.

The UK Independence Party has seats on the Essex council for the first time.

Labour won back control of Harlow in 2012 after a decade out of power. The Conservatives controlled the council between 2008 and 2012.
