Baby red squirrels born at Kelling Heath

Two baby red squirrels have been born at Kelling Heath Holiday Park near Holt in North Norfolk.

The kittens are the offspring of Red and Ginger who were introduced 10 months ago as part of a national red squirrel breeding programme.

The park has successfully bred 21 squirrel babies. Thirty years ago Kelling Heath was one of the last places in Norfolk where you could see red squirrels in the wild.
