Pensioner involved in mobility scooter hit-and-run after cyclist knocked in river
An elderly woman driving a mobility scooter has crashed into a cyclist, knocking him into a river.
The crash happened at around 3pm in Ranelagh Road, in Ipswich.
The male cyclist sustained a cut to his back and pain to his torso.
The driver of the scooter, who failed to stop, is described as a woman, aged between 70 to 80-years-old, with ‘mousey’ coloured hair and was driving a red scooter with thick wheels.
