Castle ruins reveal ancient finds

The secrets of Northampton's past are being revealed at an archaeological dig on the site of the town's former castle. It's being carried out ahead of the building of a new railway station.

Experts say the eight week dig has already uncovered a number of important artefacts and helped pinpoint the extent of the buildings that made up the fortress which was demolished by the Victorians.
