Norfolk brewery to make a comeback
Forty five years after the closure of Lacons Brewery in Great Yarmouth the famous name is to return with a new range of craft ales.
With a rich brewing history dating back to 1760 the Lacons ales will return with new brews created with the original Lacons yeast strains that have been held at the Norwich based National Collection of Yeast Cultures for nearly half a century.
The modern range of ales that will be launched in late May at both the City of Ale Festival in Norwich and the Great Yarmouth Beer and Cider Festival.
