Man found dead in Ipswich street

An area in Ipswich has been cordoned off by Suffolk Police following the death of a man.

Police were called to Queens Street in Ipswich at around 6.50am early today by the Ambulance Service. The man had been found collapsed in the street. He was taken to hospital but was pronounced dead.

An area along Queens Street has been cordoned off by Police as a precautionary measure while they carry out initial enquiries. They say the man’s death is being treated as unexplained at this stage
