Hollywood legend takes up Norwich University post

Hollywood superstar and Norfolk resident John Hurt's been named as provost of Norwich University College of the Arts.

The ceremonial role means the actor will preside over graduation events and act as an ambassador for the institution across the globe.

The star of Alien and Harry Potter will officially take up the role in the Autumn.
