End of the trolleybus era
Many decades ago the iconic trolleybus graced the roads of Ipswich and Southend, although London had the largest trolleybus fleet in the world with nearly 2,000 in service.
It is now fifty years since they stopped running in the capital, and the end of that era has been marked at East Anglia's Transport Museum near Lowestoft.
