Post-mortem on elderly woman found dead in St Neots 'inconclusive'
A post-mortem examination on an 86-year-old woman found dead at a social housing site in St Neots has failed to establish a cause of death.
Jean Constant, who was 86, was found dead at Poppyfields in Chapman Way on Monday afternoon.
The post mortem, carried out at Peterborough City Hospital, failed to find a definitive cause of death and further tests and examinations will now be carried out.
An 87-year-old man from Eynesbury was arrested on suspicion of murder.
He's since been released on conditional bail until October 4.

A man arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a woman in St Neots has been released on bail.
Jean Constant, who was 86, was found dead at Poppyfields home in Chapman Way on Monday afternoon.
Police were alerted to the site after reports of "serious concerns for the safety of a man and a woman".
A post-mortem examination will be carried out later today.
The 87-year-old man is due to answer bail on October 4.

An 87-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is now being questioned at Parkside police station in Cambridge.
A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out later.

An elderly man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead in a house in Cambridgeshire.
Police were called to Eynesbury just outside St Neots after they were told there were "serious concerns" for the safety of a man and a woman in her 80s at around 5pm last night.
A police cordon is currently in place and officers say they're not looking for anybody else in connection with the incident.
A post mortem is likely to take place later today.
An 87-year-old man remains at Parkside Police Station in Cambridge.

A woman has been found dead at a house in Cambridgeshire.
Police were called to Eynesbury just outside St Neots after they were told there were "serious concerns" for the safety of a man and a woman at around 5pm last night.
When they got to Chapman way, they found the woman as well as a man who was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital.
He's now said to be in a stable condition.
A police cordon is currently in place and officers say they're not looking for anybody else in connection with the incident.
