Body found in water near Great Yarmouth thought to be missing Suffolk man Lee Fitzgerald

A man was found dead in the water near Great Yarmouth this morning (Friday, March 6).

Norfolk Police say they were called around 6.30am after someone saw the body in Winterton.

Police have contacted the family of missing man, Lee Fitzgerald, from Gislingham in Suffolk who hadn't been seen since January 9.

Police are treating the death as unexplained and a post-mortem will be conducted to establish a cause of death.
