Dead whale, around 26ft long, found on Norfolk beach

A dead whale, that was just under 25ft, has been found on Heacham Beach. On 8th December, the Hunstanton Coastguard Rescue Team were called to reports of a whale washed up on the beach. They gathered information and recorded the size of the whale.

In a Facebook post, the team said: "If you see this mammal on the beach after the tide has gone out please keep all dogs, children and yourselves well away from it."

The whale was taken by the tide on 8th December, but hit land again on 9th December.
