Four people rescued after their boat engine fails while out on Norfolk fishing trip
Four people had to be rescued when their boat engine failed while out on a fishing trip off the North Norfolk coast.
The incident happened just before 11am on Sunday near Blakeney.
The people were in a 15ft open angling boat when their engine broke down.
They then called the coastguard, but by the time the Wells inshore lifeboat had reached them, they had drifted a mile further east because of the tide.
The lifeboat managed to tow them to the harbour entrance and ensured all four people were removed from the vessel safely.
The incident is the second rescue to have taken place off the Norfolk coast this weekend, after three fishermen were helped to safety by a cruise ship near Great Yarmouth on Saturday night.
The search for two other missing fisherman was called off on Sunday after their bodies were discovered.
