The bells of St Peter Mancroft in Norwich are ringing out across the city again
See Kate Prout's report here
26th August marks the 300th Anniversary of the first ever full peal of Grandsire Triples, which was rung at St Peter Mancroft on 26th August in 1718. The board which records the achievement has been cleaned and restored as part of the Mancroft Appeal 300 Project
The three year project cost around £400,000 and has restored the former ancient ringing platform, removed bin the 19th Century. And it has created a training room where people can train on 8 bells that can only be heard from a laptop.
