Police say body found in alleyway not suspicious

Police have sealed off an alleyway in Norwich after the body of a man was discovered there this morning (Monday 4 September 2017).

Officers were called shortly after 8.30am following reports a man's body had been found in an area near King Street and Carrow Road.

The alleyway is a popular cut through, especially on match days when fans use it to reach nearby Carrow Road from Bracondale.

Police say the death - of a man in his 50s - is not being treated as suspicious.

A file will be prepared for the coroner.
