The robot wars hoping to inspire future engineers

Children from across the country are taking part in a robotics competition in Cambridge using machines they've designed themselves.
The aim is to inspire the engineers of the future, as Britain faces a serious shortage of skilled people in the industry.
Sixty teams have to compete with their robots across seven challenges to earn points and win prizes. Robots are all controlled by a Raspberry Pi computer- which was designed in Cambridge. The company says the competition has a serious purpose.
