Flood alerts in the Anglia region

A number of flood alerts are in force in the Anglia region with river levels high due to continuing heavy rain showers.

A "Flood Alert" means be prepared because flooding is possible.

  • Northamptonshire: Harpers Brook between Great Oakley and Islip and Willow Brook between Corby and Fotheringhay

  • Northamptonshire: River Tove from Towcester to Cosgrove including Silverstone Brook

  • Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire: Upper River Great Ouse from Brackley to Haversham including the Padbury Brook

  • Norfolk: River Bure and Spixworth Beck

  • Suffolk: Thorpeness Hundred River & the River Ore from Framlingham to Blaxhall, inclusive

  • Suffolk: River Deben from, and including Debenham to Bromeswell and the River Lark from Clopton to Martlesham

  • Suffolk: Blyth and Walpole Rivers and Chediston, Bramfield and Wrentham watercourses

  • Essex: River Wid from Ingatestone to, and including Writtle and the River Can at Chelmsford
