"You look exactly the same!" Photographer retakes pictures of people from decades ago

An amateur photographer recreated photos he took in the 1970s and 1980s with the same people.

Chris Porsz went around Peterborough and Cambridgeshire taking a variety snaps of people in various poses, nearly 40 years ago.

He has now tracked down many of the people he snapped on the streets all those years ago, recreating candid and delightful photos.

Porsz, who's a paramedic, recreated the original photo almost identically, give or take a little change of hair colour.

Porsz put the original photos on social media and published them in local newspapers, in the hope many locals would recognise themselves.

They include friends John Church, Gary Beckett and Ade Lawrence.

Sandra Williams, Carmen Chin and Maureen Mayers are three others he snapped.

They were school girls in 1979 but today they are all mothers of four.

Andy, Richard, Devinder, Tony and Aaron (pictured below) were 15 years old in 1980. They still have the same cheeky smiles today.

All of the pictures are in a new book Chris has released called Reunions.

They include sisters Anna and Emma Hankins who had to relearn how to blow their bubble gum again.
