A 19-year-old from Suffolk who suffered horrific burns as a baby in a house fire in Ipswich in 1998 is taking a stand against cyberbullies after she was trolled online for the way she looks.

Terri Calvesbert who now lives in Sudbury says she was too scared to look at the posts which suggested she was 'deformed', because it was too upsetting.

Instead she has started up a campaign to stop cyberbullying and even plans to petition the Government to take more action.

A social media account set up abroad was used to share a photo of Terri saying 'Everyone is ashamed of me because I am deformed'. More than 2,000 people left comments, many of which were unkind and it was shared across the world.

Terri and her close friends have started a 'Stop cyberbullying' campaign through social media.

They've already had thousands of likes on their page with many other people sharing their experiences of cyberbullying.

But they're not stopping there, they want to petition the Government to take a stronger stance.

Terri's local MP James Cartlidge, who represents South Suffolk, is already calling for changes to the law on this.
