Actor Warwick Davies backing charity cycle ride for air ambulance

A girl from Peterborough who was involved in an horrific car crash was left with such severe injuries doctors feared she would die.

But Rebekah Cheshire's recovery went beyond doctors' expectations and now, aged 24, she is training for a cycle ride to raise money for charity.

The actor Warwick Davis was at the Yaxley Festival to give her his support.

He said: "Rebekah's doing a fantastic job, not only is she only achieving something by doing the tour of Cambridgeshire herself, but she's raising awareness and helping to raise funds for the Magpas air ambulance.

"It's really important because I don't think many of us realise that it's not something that has central funding it purely relies on generous donations to keep doing what it does."
