Investigation after fire involving hundreds of cars in scrapyard
Fire investigators are looking into the cause of a blaze involving hundreds of cars at a scrapyard near Norwich.
They say they are keeping an 'open mind' by say that 'deliberate ignition' has not been ruled out.
At its height, nearly 80 firefighters were involved in tackling the fire at Seething near Norwich. It broke out at around 10.20 on Sunday evening.
The two acre scrapyard contained around 2,000 cars and the fire involved several hundred vehicles.
Four crews were still damping down on Monday morning.
People in the area were warned to keep their windows shut because of the smoke.
No one is believed to have been hurt.
