A father's campaign to raise awareness of Brain Tumours

A policeman from Cambridgeshire who has an incurable brain tumour says more people need to know about the symptoms of the disease.

Steve Holbrook from Great Paxton was diagnosed with a grade 4 Glioblastoma multiforme when he was 36 - after suffering headaches and blurred vision. It is the most common and the most aggressive brain tumour type.

Steve has received treatment but it's only slowed the progress of the condition.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under 40 than any other cancer.27 people are diagnosed with a brain tumour every day.Yet they receive just 1% of the national spend on cancer research.

Steve and his wife are working with the Milton Keynes based charityBrain Tumour Research to raise awareness of the disease, in this Brain Tumour Awareness Month.
