Several flood warnings and alerts issued for parts of the Anglia region

The Environment Agency has issued a number of flood warnings and flood alerts for the Anglia region tonight (January 14).

Two warnings, which means flooding is likely and immediate action should be taken, have been issued for the stretch of coast from Keswick to Walcott in Norfolk and for the North Bank Road alongside the River Nene near Peterborough.

Meanwhile, there are also several alerts in place which means flooding is a possibility.

The warning is in force until 11.30pm.

  • Tidal River Yare

  • Norfolk Coast at Great Yarmouth

  • North Norfolk coast from old Hunstanton to and including Cley

  • River Great Ouse in Cambridgeshire and parts of East Bedfordshire

  • River Great Ouse in Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire

  • Hundred Foot Washes in Norfolk and Cambridgeshire
