A peaceful protest has taken place in a Fenland town to reflect on the current refugee crisis and the ongoing airstrikes over Syria.
Organisers from the 'Stop the War' group were also hoping for a positive outcome from the Climate Change Conference in Paris, where today they got a hint of good news as leaders from across the world agreed to work together for the first time to deal with global warming.
Members from in and around the Fenland town as well as West Norfolk gathered to hold this vigil against three current political issues, airstrikes over Syria, in which Tornado jets from RAF Marham near Downham Market, are involved, the Climate Change conference in Paris and of course the refugee crisis.
The demonstration in Wisbech may have been small in numbers but it was echoed across the UK and in London.
