Police suspect murder 12 years after woman went missing
Police investigating the disappearance of a woman 12 years ago suspect she was murdered and are appealing for help in solving the mystery.
Natalia Doherty has not been seen since April 2003 and an investigation was launched in January 2014 and officers have spent the last 20 months piecing together the puzzle of her disappearance.
Natalia, who was 50 at the time she went missing, is presumed murdered. It is known that she went to stay with her former husband Gerald Doherty in the Regent's Arms pub in Hastings Street, Luton.
Mr Doherty has since died and the pub has since been demolished.

Mother-of-three Natalia was also known by the surnames Wilkanowska and Logan.
She was last seen alive in Eastbourne. It's not known when she left Luton for Eastbourne but detectives believe it was on of after 15 April 2003.
Officers from the Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire Major Crime Unit want anyone who recognises Natalia or Gerald from their time in Luton and the Regent's Arms in 2003 to contact them on 101.
