Eye phone: Students develop new tech to operate mobiles
Mobile phones are changing at a rapid rate - only this week Apple made a flurry of announcements at its next evolutionary step.
It's moved from a device to make simple phone calls to one which is essentially a powerful pocket computer.
Now the we use them could be about to change. PhD students from the University of Essex have come up with a way of controlling our phones just by winking.
At their lab in Colchester, they’ve come up with a way of using winks to operate the music on a smart phone.
The hope is that the technology will help people with disabilities, as well as those who are driving or out for a jog or cycle ride.
