'I felt I was doing something wrong, even though I didn't want it' - woman who was abused as a child speaks out
A woman from Lowestoft who was sexually abused by her stepfather has spoken out in the hope of encouraging other victims to come forward.
Kim Hill was abused for eight years during her childhood - but did not tell anyone about it for two decades.
It was not until she Rob that she finally admitted what had happened. She told him everything and later spoke to her family and the police.
Last May, her abuser, Derek Osborne, was jailed for 21 years.
He had initially denied the charges but eventually pleaded guilty to 16 counts including indecent assault, seven counts of indecency against a child relating to Mrs Hill and two other schoolgirls, and the rape of another woman.
Mrs Hill, who has chosen to waive her anonymity, said she hoped speaking out about what had happened to her would encourage others to speak out.
