Witnesses' shock as undertaking driver spins out of control on busy dual-carriageway

A driver has been arrested after being filmed swerving across a busy dual-carriageway and smashing into a crash barrier.

The car was passing on the inside lane before hitting the central reservation then spinning around completely and crossing back over both lanes and into the grass verge at the side of the road.

"What a f****** ****!" exclaims a shocked driver who witnessed the failed manoeuvre.

The men then express disbelief as the white car recovers from the spin and continues to drive on.

The dramatic incident on the A14 near Rothwell in Northamptonshire on was captured by a dashboard camera in a following car.

The shocked reaction of the witnesses in the car behind is also recorded as the car narrowly avoided other vehicles before spinning through 360 degrees and veering off into the roadside verge.

Remarkably no other vehicle was affected by the incident on Wednesday.
