In the world of small independent record shops you can't really get any smaller than a shed.

Matt Hawton's store at the bottom of his garden in Peterborough is thought to be the smallest vinyl record shop in the UK.

A recent resurgence in vinyl sales prompted Matt to create the store in addition to the his online business.

It is so small you can walk across the shop in just three paces, but browsing can take hours - with over six thousand records on the racks.

As well as selling LPs and singles Matt also buys and exchanges records.

Matt is so proud of his tiny record shop he is thinking of entering it into the annual 'shed of the year' competition.
