Wattisham near Ipswich in Suffolk was the wettest place in the UK on Saturday night with 31 mm of rain from 10pm on Saturday to 10am on Sunday.

It topped that by recording 31 mm of rain in just one hour between 3pm and 4pm on Sunday.

That means Wattisham has had more than a month's rain in less than a day.
