An unfortunately-timed sneeze by a trombone player during a Salvation Army band's performance has become an internet hit.

The London Central Fellowship Band visited Tiptree, in Essex, last month.

During the performance, one of the trombone players sneeze straight into his instrument.

At the time, neither the bandmaster nor the audience flinched, but the tuneless burst has since attracted far more attention after a video was posted on You Tube.

The so-called "Tiptree Sneeze" has now been viewed more than 300,000 times.
