Funerals held for three children

The funerals have taken place for three young children killed by their mother in their home in Lowestoft in April.

The service for Addy, Levina and Kayden McLelland was held at the Church of St Peter and St John in Kirkley this morning.

They children died before their mother, Fiona Anderson, jumped to her death from a multi-storey car park in Lowestoft on April 15. She was expecting her fourth child.

Speaking at today's service, the Rev Andrew White spoke of the sense of tragedy in the town and quoted the words of the children's father, Craig McLelland, who said, "I had hoped they were going to grow up into really nice, well-mannered kids, and do well in what they wanted to do, and that I would always be there for them.

"They were the world to me and they were lovely children".

The funeral service for the children's mother, Fiona Anderson, has yet to take place.
