Norfolk Police Authority has produced a rap video to promote the new police and crime commissioners, who will replace police authorities later this year.

It's hoped the music video will raise awareness of the new positions ahead of the elections, which are due to take place in November.

Members of the public will be able to vote for their chosen candidate for the role on November 15. The successful candidates will take up office in their respective forces on November 22.

The idea of the P&CC is to scrutinise, support and challenge the force’s performance and hold the chief constable to account.

During their four-year term the P&CC will work with partners including local authorities, health services and the criminal justice system to tackle crime and disorder and create a Police and Crime Plan.
