Investigation launched after ambulance crash

An investigation is underway after an ambulance overturned in Hertfordshire last night.

Its two crew members were taken to the Lister Hospital with minor injuries following the crash in Stevenage at around 6.45pm. The ambulance hit a lamp post and no other vehicles were involved.

The East of England Ambulance Service told us the vehicle has been replaced and the emergency service has not been affected. An investigation is now underway.
